Sacramento, California
The colors of California come out in this map--one of a series produced for the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau. The map found a home in both the printed visitor guide and the CVB's website.
The maps also included custom symbols.
Manhattan Beach, California
This overview map was done for ING Financial Services. It uses transparency and vignettes to give it an illustrated appearance.
McKinney, Texas
One of the 75 chamber of commerce maps we produce, this map of McKinney was produced in several versions. One was a city map atlas, another was a web map, and a third was a print map for the CVB.

Tullahoma, Tennessee
Muted browns and greens give a subtle look to this map of Tullahoma.
This two-sided map included local advertising and was printed on tearsheet pads that were distributed to local merchants.
SCIARC
A terrain image forms the background of this location map of Los Angeles.
SCIARC, the Southern California Institute of Architecture, is an independent, nonprofit school with undergraduate and graduate programs in architecture.

Clearwater Film Festival
Featuring sea foam, aquatic animals, and palms, this visitor's map for the film festival was used in both the printed guide and festival website.

Jackson County, North Carolina
For this annual magazine published by The Sylva Herald entitled "Across the Mountains," we produced a vibrant terrain image as a backdrop to the outdoor culture of the area.

Parkersburg, West Virginia
Parkersburg's Visitor Guide includes an area map we made featuring a terrain image with the counties accentuated graphically.

Arizona
The ACERT map of Arizona provides a comprehensive guide to the cultural and recreation resources of the state. It has proven popular with in-state and out-of-state visitors.

Holt Rinehart Winston
Holt Rinehart Winston requested a map showing the territorial status of the United States for a history textbook. Our map includes natural terrain shading and terrain colored by historical category.

Nevada
This overview map of Nevada was produced for a hiking book of Southern Nevada by Adler Publishing.

Aquaball
With clouds and other special effects, this illustration is a variation on the typical earth-sphere image.
The image used Adobe Illustrator's 3D effect to wrap a conventional map projection around a sphere, an SVG filter, and vector bristle brushes to create the clouds.

Two-World Globe
This trick projection shows both hemispheres as though they were on the same side of the globe.
It's been used in print and on the web.

Artistic Map
As a guide to a wine region in California, this digital map was rendered using an oil painting technique.
Software used included Corel Painter, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
We specialize in making custom artistic maps.

Golf Course Community
Twelve Oaks, near Raleigh, North Carolina, needed a digital map that could be changed as the community developed.
We produced the map using custom textures that gave the background a natural look while maintaining the editability of the master file.

Parks and Trails
Frisco, Texas, requested a two-sided map highlighting their parks and city trails.
We used city data to map the trail routes and designed custom symbols for parks and resources.

Courtroom Graphic
Our courtroom maps and graphics are designed to be accurate and visually persuasive.
These kinds of graphics, called "demonstrative evidence," are used in pre-trial witness preparation, negotiations, and trial presentation.

Clearwater Film Festival
